Kathy Cosgrove, Ph.D

Dr. Kathy Cosgrove is a licensed psychologist with over 20 years of clinical experience, working with adolescents and adults in individual therapy. Her areas of interest include working with people who struggle with trauma, eating disorders, interpersonal effectiveness, depression, and anxiety. By focusing on symptom resolution, while also increasing insight and self-awareness, Dr. Cosgrove hopes to support her clients in making long-lasting changes.

Dr. Cosgrove received her undergraduate degree from the College of the Holy Cross and her graduate degree from Fordham University. Currently serving as the Director of Student Support Services at the Marymount School, and having worked as the School Psychologist for 15 years prior, Dr. Cosgrove has seen the landscape of adolescent mental health drastically change and has worked diligently to address the needs through parent and faculty education, student support, and systemic changes. She has also worked at multiple college counseling centers in the New York City area, within the Veterans Health Administration, and at the Federal Bureau of Investigation, utilizing these experiences to inform her work as a clinician and school administrator. In addition, Dr. Cosgrove has been a professor at Fordham University and a guest lecturer at Barnard College. She also owns a private practice in New York City/Westchester County that provides individual psychotherapy and educational consulting.
